Dr. Rosemary completed her MBBS from the University of Queensland and continued with her internship at the Toowoomba General Hospital. She then moved on as a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) at the Redcliffe hospital, and senior RMO and registrar at the Prince Charles hospital in Queensland. Since then she has been practicing as a GP at medical clinics around Queensland.
Dr. Rosemary loves the outdoors and spending time in natural environments. Her personal interests are gardening and long-distance train journeys. She enjoys spending time with her pets.

In conjunction he completed his Preceptorship in Cosmetic Surgery with Dr Darryl Hodgkinson, Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon. Dr Carolyn McIvor is a Queensland graduate who travelled to Nebraska where she completed her Gastroenterology training with FRACP and gained certification in Gastroenterology with the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1993. Her interests focus on endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease and women’s digestive health. Dr McIvor consults at North West Private Hospital and in Nundah.
Dr. Yassmin Khadra is a Queensland trained General and perioperative consultant physician.
Yassmin has completed a comprehensive and high-quality specialty training in General and acute care medicine gaining clinical experience in various specialty fields across Metro North Hospital and health service, primarily at Royal Brisbane and Women Hospital.
Yassmin excels at the provision of holistic, patient centred, and evidence-based approach in the management of patients with complex and multisystem medical problems. Yassmin is highly skilled at utilising diagnostic tests logically, safely and effectively to investigate difficult diagnostic problems. She highly believes in effective communication to patients and families to improve their quality of life and the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions that improve quality of life.
Yassmin has interest and experience in Pre and post operative assessment aiming to identify the medical risks of the operation and the optimisation of medical conditions to improve clinical outcome. She has certification from the Monash University and University College of London in perioperative medicine.
She has a public hospital appointment at Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a senior lecturer at the school of Medicine, University of Queensland. She is a Visiting Medical Officer at The Wesley Hospital.

Dr Lata Sharma is delighted to extend her private practice Cadogan Medical. Dr Sharma has over 25 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology having worked in district and in tertiary hospitals, both overseas and in Australia. Dr Sharma obtained her FRANZCOG in 2000. Professor Christian Gericke is an experienced Consultant Neurologist with a special interest in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG). This includes the diagnosis and treatment of complex epilepsy, first seizures, epilepsy in adolescents and young adults, epilepsy in pregnancy, and epilepsy in patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
He is the Clinical Director of Neurology at The Prince Charles Hospital, Professor in the University of Queensland Medical School, and one of Australia’s leading medico-legal experts in neurology.
After graduating from medical school at the Free University of Berlin and a scholarship at Tufts and Harvard Medical Schools, he was awarded a research doctorate in cognitive neurology by the Free University of Berlin. He completed his specialist training in neurology at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin and epilepsy fellowships at the University Hospitals of Strasbourg and Geneva. He holds Masters degrees from the Universities of Cambridge, London and Deakin, a higher doctorate from Berlin University of Technology, an Advanced Diploma in Medical Law and is an American Board Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME).
He chairs the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN) Therapeutics Committee, the Ethics Section of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and is a Member of the International League against Epilepsy (ILAE) Standards and Best Practice Council.
Dr Ioannides is a consultant neurologist at RBWH. Dr Ioannides completed her medical education at Imperial College, University of London in England, followed by neurology advanced training in Queensland. Dr Ioannides runs a specialised multiple sclerosis (MS) clinic at RBWH in addition to general neurology clinics at RBWH and private practice.
Dr Ioannides holds a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Queensland in neuroscience and is an active clinician-researcher at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research. As a senior lecturer in Medicine at the University of Queensland, Dr Ioannides provides education to medical students, supervises physician trainees at RBWH and regularly fulfils a role as lead examiner in undergraduate clinical examinations. Dr Ioannides has experience in all aspects of clinical neurology and her special interests include MS, migraine, movement disorders, cognitive disorders, and functional neurological disorders.
She is also experienced in consulting patients with all neurological conditions including general neurology, stroke, migraine, Parkinson’s disease and tremor and Botox injection for various neurological conditions such as migraine and blepharospasm.
Dr Andrew Wong is a Brisbane trained Stroke Neurologist consulting Cadogan Medical. He received his medical degree and PhD from UQ. He is Director of Neurology and Stroke at RBWH and an Associate Professor (UQ). Dr Wong is President of the Australasian Stroke Academy and the Queensland Neurology Society, and co-chairs the Australasian Stroke Trials Network (2019-2022).
Dr Hossein Zareie is an Australian-based health professional. Hossein is trained as a Neurologist (Brain Specialist) and has a practice located in Nundah.

Alan Pegna is a clinical neuropsychologist with broad experience in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of cognitive difficulties associated with different neurological conditions (Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, neurodevelopmental disorders).
Dr Pegna graduated first from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) with a Master’s degree in Psychology, then from University College London (UK) with a Master’s in Human Physiology. He completed his clinical training and his PhD in Psychology at the University of Geneva and Geneva University Hospitals in 1998. Dr Pegna worked as a clinical neuropsychologist for over 20 years at the Neuropsychology Unit/Neurology Clinic at Geneva University Hospital before moving to Australia to pursue teaching and research as an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. He is currently an active clinician and researcher in cognitive neuroscience. His current research focuses on brain substrates associated with emotions.
Dr Nigel Dore is a Paediatrician with a focus in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine. Dr Dore has a special interest in asthma, bronchiolitis and pneumonia with many years’ experience. Dr Dore completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and is a member of the Asthma Foundation of Queensland.

I am a new Specialist Physician in Pain Medicine working in Brisbane. I have over twenty-five years of experience in medicine, and I am dedicated to managing patients with chronic pain. My special interest areas are chronic pelvic pain, headaches, spinal pain, chronic shoulder, hip and knee pain. I graduated medicine in 1996 from the University of Queensland. I obtained my Fellowship of General Practice in 2003 and my Fellowship in Pain Medicine in 2022. I have trained extensively at the Princess Alexandra Pain Clinic, QPain and in a focused private headache clinic in Brisbane. I am bilingual in English and Cantonese. One in five patients have chronic pain. Chronic pain contributes to significant morbidity, mental illness, functional impairment and reduced quality of life. It is a complex area which benefits from a multidisciplinary framework. I approach chronic pain in a holistic manner, utilizing behavioural interventions, pharmacotherapies, and procedural interventions such as radiofrequency neurotomies and neuromodulation. I work collaboratively with primary practitioners and allied health clinicians to maximise outcomes for patients.
Dr Bushell-Guthrie is a plastic and maxillofacial surgeon with more than 25 years’ experience helping patients look and feel their best. Dr Bushell-Guthrie provides specialist services in plastic surgery, oral maxillofacial surgery and cosmetic surgery.
Dr Archana does not provide inpatient psychiatric care but can facilitate an admission if required. She does not provide afterhours psychiatric care but is available for support if required from 8.30 till 5 pm Monday to Friday.
